In the afternoon of January 21st 2019, at the provincial Labor Culture House, the Labor Federation of Quang Ngai province held the fourth “Tet Reunion” program in 2019 for workers in the province. Mr. Nguyen Van Binh – Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Board; Mr. Tran Thanh Hai – Permanent Vice Chairman of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Le Viet Chu – Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of the National Assembly of Quang Ngai Province and representatives of provincial leaders, leaders of departments, agencies, unions of the province and a large number of officials and employees in Quang Ngai province attended the program.
At the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh presented 50 gifts to 50 poor workers, each worth 1.3 million VND. Labor Federation of Quang Ngai province offered 500 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, each worth 650,000 VND and supported 12 union members of fishery union damaged by natural disasters at sea with a total amount of 67 million VND. At the same time, the provincial Labor Confederation allocated 1.6 billion VND to build 40 Trade Union houses for union members with difficult housing conditions. The provincial Labor Confederation received the support of “Tet – reunion time 2019” from 12 enterprises with a total amount of 412 million VND…
Following the direction of the superior leaders, Mr. Ho Tuong Phat – Head of Administration and HR Department of PTSC Quang Ngai gave the support of 100 million VND of PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) to the Federation of Labor of Quang Ngai Province to join hands to support workers in extremely difficult circumstances with stable accommodation as well as visit during the time of illness, bringing material and spirit encouragement, helping them overcome difficulties in life and keep their mind on working.
