From the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation of large-scale offshore facilities (EPCI) and drilling services to pioneering technologies such as digital transformation, scientific consulting, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and renewable energy solutions, these achievements demonstrate the technical self-reliance and rigorous safety management capabilities of Vietnam’s industrial and energy workforce in line with international standards.

A notable example is PTSC, which has successfully transformed from a traditional oil and gas service provider to participating in more than ten international offshore wind power projects, securing contracts worth over USD 1.2 billion. In the drilling sector, PV Drilling has affirmed its competitiveness through the safe operation of drilling rigs in regional markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei.

Strategic partnerships with global industry leaders such as Samsung Heavy Industries and Petronas clearly demonstrate that Petrovietnam is no longer serving only the domestic market, but is also exporting its expertise, technology, and project management capabilities to the global stage. By mastering large-scale project value chains and positioning technical services as a strategic spearhead, Petrovietnam is undergoing a strong transformation into an integrated energy and industrial corporation.
