On the morning of May 16, 2026, at PTSC Dung Quat Mechanical Factory, PTSC Quang Ngai Joint Stock Company (PTSC Quang Ngai) successfully organized the First Steel Cutting Ceremony for the Flue Gas and Air Duct section under Package T08 of the Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project.
The ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere with the attendance of representatives from the Owner – Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project Management Board, led by Mr. Ha Dinh Nien – Head of the Project Management Board; representatives of the PTSC – TCC Consortium (Package T08), including Mr. Nguyen Chi Linh – Project Director of Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project, and leaders of the Project Management Board. Representing PTSC Quang Ngai were Mr. Le Hong Phong – Director, along with the Company’s Board of Management and engineers, employees and workers directly participating in the project execution.
The Ducting System under Package T08 is one of the key components of the Main Power Plant of the Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project. With a total fabrication volume of approximately 9,000 tons, the system plays an important role in conveying and regulating air, gas and fuel to ensure the stable, safe and optimal operation of the plant. With many years of experience in mechanical fabrication, steel structure and industrial equipment manufacturing for oil & gas, energy and heavy industrial projects, PTSC Quang Ngai has been entrusted to execute this important package, this is a recognition of the company’s capability in construction execution, product quality, and reputation within the supply chain of key energy projects in both domestic and international markets.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ha Dinh Nien – Head of Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project Management Board highly appreciated PTSC Quang Ngai’s capability, experience and proactive preparation for project execution, while encouraging engineers and workers to concentrate resources and closely coordinate with the PTSC–TCC consortium to implement the construction in a systematic manner, ensuring progress, quality, and safety throughout the execution of the contract package.
Representative of the PTSC-TCC Consortium – Mr. Nguyen Chi Linh also expressed expectation that PTSC Quang Ngai would continue leveraging its capability and experience to successfully complete the assigned work scopes, contributing to the overall success of the project.
In response to the trust of the Owner and the Contractor Consortium, representatives of PTSC Quang Ngai’s Management affirmed that the company always considers quality, schedule, and safety as the core factors that build its reputation. PTSC Quang Ngai is committed to mobilizing appropriate resources and fully preparing manpower, equipment, materials, and effective execution plan to best meet the project requirements.
Within the framework of the event, representatives of all parties performed the symbolic first steel cutting ceremony, officially marking the commencement of fabrication activities for the Ducting System. Following the ceremony, delegates toured the production and fabrication facilities at the PTSC Dung Quat Mechanical Factory.
The steel-cutting ceremony for the Ducting System under Package T08 marks an important initial start in PTSC Quang Ngai’s execution of works under the Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project. The event further demonstrates the company’s commitment, execution capability and reputation in delivering key industrial and energy projects, while also reflecting the confidence and support of both the Project Owner and the Contractor Consortium throughout the project implementation process.
