On the morning of June 1, 2026, at PTSC Dung Quat Mechanical Factory, the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Department, in coordination with the Company’s Trade Union, organized the closing ceremony of the Occupational Safety and Health Action Month and Workers’ Month, as well as the award presentation for employees who achieved the targets for identifying and reporting Unsafe Acts/Unsafe Conditions (UA/UC) in the first and second quarters of 2026.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Huynh Ngoc Thanh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union of PTSC Quang Ngai, members of the Trade Union Executive Committee, leaders of socio-political organizations, leaders of the Company’s departments, and more than 500 employees representing over 800 trade union members and employees across the Company.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Thanh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union of PTSC Quang Ngai, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements and positive changes recorded during the recent Workers’ Month and Occupational Safety and Health Action Month. He emphasized the practical role of the Trade Union in accompanying employees, continuously enhancing awareness of safety discipline compliance, and building a professional working environment. He also called on all employees to uphold the spirit of solidarity and innovation while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, thereby contributing to the successful achievement of the Company’s 2026 production and business objectives.

One of the key highlights of the program was the recognition of two outstanding units (PTSC Dung Quat Port and PTSC Dung Quat Mechanical Factory), together with individuals who successfully achieved the targets for identifying and reporting Unsafe Acts/Unsafe Conditions (UA/UC) from various departments and project management teams. The timely identification and rectification of UA/UC cases demonstrated employees’ proactive attitude and sense of responsibility in recognizing and controlling safety hazards. These positive indicators reflected the effectiveness of risk identification and early prevention efforts, contributing to minimizing the likelihood of occupational accidents and serious incidents in the Company’s production and business activities.

In addition, the program presented monthly safety awards to 20 outstanding employees of PTSC Dung Quat Mechanical Factory. These exemplary employees have consistently demonstrated strict compliance with safety regulations and have directly contributed to ensuring safety, quality, and schedule performance in the Mechanical Factory’s construction activities as well as the Company’s overall operations.

As temperatures rise during the peak dry season in the Central Region, and with many employees performing outdoor mechanical and workshop tasks, ensuring the health and well-being of the workforce remains a key focus of the Company. Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Hung, representing the HSE team of PTSC Dung Quat Mechanical Factory, shared practical information on occupational safety and health during hot weather conditions. Practical guidance on recognizing the risks of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, maintaining proper hydration, and taking appropriate rest periods were presented to help employees equip themselves with the knowledge necessary to protect their own health and that of their colleagues.

Alongside safety, continuously improving quality in all production activities remains an important objective. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Viet, Head of the Quality Inspection and Assessment Team, shared key aspects of quality control with employees, thereby enhancing awareness and individual responsibility for the quality of the products and services provided by the Company.

The closing ceremony concluded successfully, helping to spread the message that “Safety is a core value – Employees are the Company’s most valuable asset,” while reaffirming PTSC Quang Ngai’s commitment to building a safe, professional, and people-oriented working environment.
