On December 12, 2024, at Dung Quat Refinery (DQR), Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) held the 2024 HSE Performance Review Conference. During the conference, with the participation of 07 partners and other companies, PTSC Quang Ngai was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit for its outstanding achievements in contributing to BSR’s overall success in HSE management, achieving over 49 million safe man-hours in 2024.

The conference was attended and directed by Mr. Cao Tuan Si, Director of Dung Quat Refinery, along with Heads and Deputy Heads of BSR’s functional departments. Representing PTSC Quang Ngai was Mr. Ngo Tan Quang, Deputy Director, along with the Project Management Board for Maintenance & Repair and HSE officers. The conference also welcomed representatives from local authorities, including Economic Security Division, Target Protection Police Force, Fire Prevention & Rescue Team – Zone 2, and Dung Quat Border Guard Station.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Cao Tuan Si, Director of Dung Quat Refinery, along with BSR leadership, highly appreciated the vital role and significant contributions of PTSC Quang Ngai in ensuring safety, health, and environmental protection throughout the refinery’s operations.
Specifically, during the 5th Turnaround (TA5) at Dung Quat Refinery, despite the mobilization of more than 4,000 personnel from both domestic and international sources, with its extensive experience from 04 previous Turnaround and a strong awareness of HSE’s critical role in the success of projects, PTSC Quang Ngai developed a well-structured safety training program, ensuring that all personnel were thoroughly familiar with procedures and strictly adhered to HSE standards throughout the execution phase at the refinery. PTSC Quang Ngai also maintained continuous monitoring and patrol activities, proactively identifying risks to maximize worker safety and maintain high work quality.
Mr. Ngo Tan Quang, Deputy Director of PTSC Quang Ngai, reaffirmed the company’s strong commitment to BSR in continuously enhancing HSE performance. He emphasized: “The company’s leadership is committed to providing all necessary support for Project Management Board for Maintenance & Repair to effectively fulfill its responsibilities in Security and Safety management for all work orders at Dung Quat Refinery. At the same time, we will closely collaborate with BSR to maintain the system and uphold outstanding HSE management achievements that BSR has attained over the last many years”.

The 2024 HSE performance results serve as clear evidence of PTSC Quang Ngai’s outstanding efforts in ensuring safety, health, and environmental protection. With a total score of 93, PTSC Quang Ngai was honored to achieve the highest ranking among regular maintenance service partners.
