On the morning of March 6, 2026, at Ninh Binh Nitrogenous Fertilizer Plant (Ninh Binh Province), Ninh Binh Nitrogenous Fertilizer Limited Company and the contractor consortium comprising PTSC Quang Ngai Joint stock company (PTSC Quang Ngai), Keyon Process Co., Ltd (KPC), Megarig Industries Co., Ltd (MEI) held the groundbreaking ceremony for Package No. 1: Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) under the project “Repair, Renovation and Upgrading of the Sulfur recovery system to produce acid”.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the owner, together with the contractor consortium comprising PTSC Quang Ngai – KPC – MEI, as well as partners and subcontractors.

Previously, on October 7, 2025, the PTSC Quang Ngai – KPC – MEI consortium and Ninh Binh Nitrogenous Fertilizer Limited Company officially signed the EPC contract for project implementation. The scope of work covers multiple items in design and construction for the completion of the sulfur treatment line, including: process and auxiliary piping systems, steel structures, product storage tanks, and in particular, major equipment such as incinerators, boilers, heat exchangers, conversion towers, condensers, absorbers, gas scrubbers, etc., all designed and constructed in compliance with high standards applicable to chemical industry facilities.
The project plays an important role in optimizing the recovery and reuse of sulfur from exhaust gas, thereby enhancing the operational efficiency of the plant while ensuring compliance with environmental protection requirements and sustainable development objectives.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held, marking the official commencement of the project implementation. Immediately following the ceremony, piling equipment was mobilized to commence piling works for structural foundations and equipment foundations of the project. The contractor consortium commits to mobilizing optimal human resources, technical capabilities, and financial resources, applying advanced construction solutions, and strictly controlling schedule, quality, occupational safety, and environmental compliance, with the goal of delivering the project on schedule and in accordance with the owner’s technical requirements and expectations.
The event not only demonstrates the strong determination of all parties to successfully implement the project but also reaffirms the capability and experience of PTSC Quang Ngai and its consortium partners in engineering and construction of industrial, chemical, and energy facilities.
