Implementing the Youth Union work program and youth movement in 2026, towards celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (26/03/1931 – 26/03/2026) and the 120th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Pham Van Dong, on the morning of 28 February 2026, Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Youth Union of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company, together with accompanying units including Quang Ngai PTSC Petroleum Services Joint Stock Company and Bac Song Tra Trading Joint Stock Company, to organize the Launching Ceremony of Youth Month and the Tree-Planting Festival “Forever Remembering Uncle Ho” – Spring of Binh Ngo 2026.
The program was honored to welcome Comrade Dinh Thi Hong Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Truong Thi Linh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission; Comrade Nguyen Van Manh, Member of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Comrade Tran Dang Minh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam National Union of Students in the province; together with representatives of provincial departments, agencies, local authorities, accompanying enterprises and more than 500 youths, young volunteers, students and forces participating in volunteer activities and local projects.
At the program, many meaningful youth projects and initiatives were handed over and implemented, including:
- “Youth Flag Road” project worth VND 10 million
- “Children’s Playground” project worth VND 35 million
- “Bright, Green, Clean, Beautiful-Safe Solar-Powered Road ” project worth VND 60 million
- Presentation of 300 gift packages to disadvantaged households in Dong Son commune with a total value of VND 30 million..
The success of the Youth Month Launching Ceremony 2026 and the “Forever Remembering Uncle Ho” Tree-Planting Festival was not only derived from the pioneering and volunteer spirit of young people, but also from the valuable attention and companionship of agencies, units, enterprises and benefactors. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union presented flowers and letters of appreciation to accompanying units as a sincere expression of gratitude for their contributions to the community.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, eight volunteer groups simultaneously implemented various youth projects and activities in Dong Son commune to respond to Youth Month 2026, including:
1. 1. Tree planting campaign in response to the “Forever Remembering Uncle Ho” Tree-Planting Festival – Spring of Binh Ngo 2026.
2. 2. Implementation of the youth project “Bright, Green, Clean, Beautiful-Safe Solar-Powered Road”
3. 3. Implementation of the youth project “Youth Flag Road”
4. 4. Implementation of the youth project “Children’s Playground”
- Implementation of the community model “Green Dong Son – Clean Sea” and elimination of pollution black spots
- Organization of communication and education on traffic safety laws and safe driving training
- Career orientation, employment and start-up communication for high school students.
- Organization of the “Digital Literacy Class” and training on skills to participate in building a safe and friendly digital environment for children and youth
Youth Month 2026 has officially been launched in an enthusiastic and vibrant atmosphere, spreading the spirit of responsibility and aspiration for dedication of Quang Ngai’s youth. With the companionship of all levels, sectors and enterprises, it is believed that today’s projects and activities will continue to cultivate sustainable values, contributing to building an increasingly developed, civilized and compassionate homeland.
