In March 2026, PTSC Quang Ngai Joint Stock Company (PTSC Quang Ngai) has successfully completed the key installation works for the Economizer system under Package T05 – Completion of Boiler No.2 Installation of the Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant Project, in accordance with the scope and responsibilities specified in the signed contract.
Under the contractual work scope of the package awarded by PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) in December 2025, PTSC Quang Ngai is responsible for performing inspection and condition assessment of boiler pressure parts and materials, as well as the supply and installation of equipment items associated with the Boiler No.2 system, including the Economizer system.
The completion of the Economizer installation not only ensures compliance with the contractual schedule but also marks an important milestone in the overall construction of Boiler No. 2 of the Project. The milestone lays a solid foundation for PTSC Quang Ngai to proceed with subsequent work packages in line with the established plan, aiming toward the completion and handover of the Boiler No. 2 installation works under the Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Project by October 2026.
This achievement further affirms PTSC Quang Ngai’s capability in construction organization, resource coordination, and schedule control in executing large-scale industrial and energy projects.
| According to the design configuration, the Economizer is a critical component of the boiler system, installed along the flue gas path to recover heat from exhaust gases and preheat the feedwater before it enters the boiler. The equipment operates in synchronization with other subsystems within the boiler complex, contributing to fuel savings and improving the overall efficiency of the system. |
