In recent years, PTSC Quang Ngai Joint Stock company (PTSC Quang Ngai) has recorded strong growth in revenue, workforce scale, and infrastructure supporting its production and business operations. Alongside this expansion, the company is also facing increasing requirements related to digital transformation, green transition, ESG standards, as well as domestic and international information security and data protection regulations. In particular, as cybersecurity risks continue to grow more complex, protecting systems, data, and information assets has become an urgent requirement for every enterprise. Recognizing these challenges, the leadership of PTSC Quang Ngai has identified the development and standardization of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with the international ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard as a strategic step to strengthen its management foundation, enhance operational capability, and support its sustainable development objectives.

Turning vision into action
With strong determination from the leadership and coordinated efforts across all departments and units, PTSC Quang Ngai has implemented various initiatives to progressively transform the requirements of the standard into practical management capabilities:

• Enhancing awareness: The company has organized numerous training programs, communication initiatives, and practical awareness surveys to help employees improve their ability to identify, prevent, and respond to cybersecurity threats.
• Standardizing processes: Policies, regulations, and procedures related to information security have been comprehensively reviewed, developed, and issued in a systematic manner. The company has also applied appropriate access control principles based on job position, function, and work requirements, thereby strengthening risk control and operational discipline.
• Investing in infrastructure: PTSC Quang Ngai has invested in and upgraded its information technology infrastructure, deployed licensed software for servers and terminal, enhanced cybersecurity solutions including firewalls, anti-malware systems, network security monitoring, as well as regular data backup and recovery mechanisms.
• Risk identification and management: The company has proactively developed a risk register, established incident response procedures, and formulated a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), thereby improving business continuity capabilities and minimizing potential impacts when unexpected incidents occur.

A foundation for sustainable development
The results of these consistent and comprehensive efforts were formally recognized when PTSC Quang Ngai’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) was awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification in December 2025 after successfully completing the required certification audits.

Achieving this certification is not only a milestone in terms of system implementation but also delivers significant practical value to the company, including:

• Strengthening internal governance and protecting digital assets: A structured system of technical and procedural controls has been established to enhance the protection of data, business secrets, and information assets. At the same time, it supports stable operations, reduces errors, and improves operational continuity.
• Enhancing credibility with partners and customers: The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification serves as strong evidence of PTSC Quang Ngai’s capability in information security governance, thereby strengthening trust among clients and partners while improving the Company’s ability to meet the requirements of high-standard supply chains and projects both domestically and internationally.
• Improving compliance: Adopting this international standard enables the Company to progressively strengthen compliance with legal requirements related to cybersecurity, data protection, and information risk management.
