In celebration of the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam), term 2025–2030 and the 50th anniversary of Petrovietnam, the workforce of PTSC Quang Ngai is actively executing construction works under the aircraft fuel supply system— one of the key components contributing to the safe and stable operation of Long Thanh International Airport in the future.
The Long Thanh International Airport Project, developed by Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), is one of the most significant national key projects, featuring the largest scale and investment ever recorded in Vietnam’s civil aviation sector. Once completed, Long Thanh Airport is expected to become a new international transit hub in Southeast Asia, with a designed capacity of 100 million passengers per year and the ability to handle 5 million tons of cargo annually.
In October 2024, the consortium of PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) and BCA Thang Long Co., Ltd. (BCA-TL) was selected by ACV as the contractor for Package 4.9: Construction, equipment installation, and provision of detailed engineering drawings for the aircraft fuel supply system under Component Project 3 – Essential facilities of the airport of the Long Thanh International Airport Investment and Construction Project Phase 1. Within this package, PTSC Quang Ngai, under the assignment of PTSC, is responsible for several critical components, including: procurement, fabrication, and installation of fuel storage tanks; procurement, construction, and installation of the fuel pipeline system; as well as the supply and installation of major equipment such as pumps, fueling systems, and filters. All of these tasks require advanced technical expertise and are essential to securing the airport’s long-term safety and operational reliability.
