On October 8 – 10, 2018 and February 27, 2018, Intertek Certification Organization (the unit appointed by Thyssenkrupp AG Germany – the General Contractor ) conducted a capacity assessment of PTSC Quang Ngai with respect to the contents about the Workplace Conditions Assessment (WCA) at Dung Quat Mechanical Workshop to ensure conditions for signing the Implementation Contract of Ammonia and Fertilizer Plant Project in Brunei (it is expected to start construction in November 2018).
As a result of 02 assessments, PTSC Quang Ngai achieved a score of 91/100 (high performance) with the scope of certification including: human resource, labor; working hours and payment of wages; management system; works to ensure safety and health for workers; environmental protection work. This result has left a deep impression with compliments and appreciation from customers with the confidence in the Company’s ability to meet the requirements during the implementation of the Project.
The project of building an ammonia and fertilizer factory – Brunei is the first project that PTSC Quang Ngai has participated in bidding for construction abroad with a strategic partner in Europe, so this result is once again affirming the capacity and position of the Company in the implementation of major international projects, thereby showing the close attention and direction of the Board of Directors to the policies, rights benefits of workers and at the same time creating a solid premise in improving the competitiveness of PTSC Quang Ngai in the future./.
