With the consent of the Party Committee, Board of Directors and the Trade Union of the Company, in the afternoon of October 18th, on the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the founding of  Vietnam Women’s Union, PTSC Quang Ngai’s Women Board held a cooking contest. In particular, the Contest with the participation of male employees in the role of the main chef, the teams presented a rice tray for family with the topic “Daddy’s Kitchen, come back home”. The contest received enthusiastic response from the departments and divisions of the Company and organized successfully.

This “cuisine contest” aimed to promote the share of family members. As we known, family was the cell of society. Happy, prosperous and equal family was the fulcrum for each member to achieve success in life. In which, each family meal was a “pink thread” that connected members to share the sweetness of daily life, a place to keep the fire for happy family. Each member of the family put aside the chaos of life out there, cooked a meal together, so that the simple happiness was warmer, especially the men showed affection and shared with your partner with delicious dishes cooked by their own hands, treating the whole family. The competition wanted to cherish the moments of reunion together with warm and happy family meal; at the same time promote the emotional cultural values ​​of grandparents, parents, descendants, sisters and brothers; respect the parents and love each other among family members.

After nearly 90 minutes of processing and display, 8 teams completed successfully and presented the products with the presentation of the male chefs. With simple ingredients, familiar with daily life, through the ingenious, creative hands of men officials and employees, created the dishes that were very attractive and impressive. The usual rice trays became beautiful, soulful, really conquered the viewers and the judges. The contest took place very attractively, the tray of rice was meticulously arranged, confirmed one thing, when the fathers entered the kitchen, it was equally wonderful. The jury had to consult several times to select the prizes for the teams because all the teams really accomplished their presentation. The results were that 2 teams of Planning and Mechanical Workshop Departments deserved the Special Prize and First Prize of the Competition, the remaining teams won the Second Prizes (Dung Quat Port, Quality Control Department), and Third prizes ( Administration & HR,  Financial Accounting, Technical Departments) and Consolation prize (Design Department and Commercial Department).

In the evening of the same day, Gala Dinner was also held in the Contest area. Attending the program included the Board of Directors of the Company, the Executive Committee of the Company’s Trade Union, Agencies, Leaders of Departments and especially the attendance of more than 80 women employees in the Company and more than 30 male chefs participating in the Cooking Contest.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Thanh – Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union sent good wishes to women, praised the achievements that women achieved in the past time, and he was very inspired by the success of this year’s Cooking Contest. Through the contest, it helped employees be more united and attached each other, at the same time create a joyful atmosphere, actively support production and business activities of the Company in the coming time. At the end of the program, the organizers would like to express their sincere thanks to the Teams participating in the Contest, and to express their deep gratitude and tribute to all the women in these special October days.
