Amid the joyful atmosphere of welcoming the nation’s traditional Lunar New Year, where the happiness of family reunions spreads across the country, there are still many disadvantaged circumstances in need of sharing and support to enjoy a warmer and more fulfilling spring. With empathy and companionship with the community, and promoting the core value of “Humanity” within the motto “Unity – Dynamism – Creativity – Professionalism – Humanity” of the PTSC Quang Ngai brand, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union coordinated with agencies and units to organize a series of meaningful social welfare activities on the occasion of the Spring of Binh Ngo 2026, contributing to spreading social responsibility and strengthening bonds with the local community.
On January 11 and 12, 2026, in Van Tuong Commune, PTSC Quang Ngai cooperated with the Petroleum Department under the General Department of Logistics – Technology and Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) to organize a program providing medical check-ups, health consultations, free medicine distribution, combined with a “Zero-VND Fair” for local residents. Within the program, on January 11, 2026, experienced doctors and medical staff from Military Hospital 17 (Logistics – Technology Department, Military Region 5) and the Military Clinic (Quang Ngai Provincial Military Command) directly examined, consulted and provided free medicines to more than 600 local residents. Continuing the healthcare activities, on the morning of January 12, 2026, the “Zero-VND Fair” was held at Thuan Phuoc Hamlet Cultural House, presenting 600 Tet gift packages, each worth VND 1.1 million (including essential goods and cash), to 400 households in the area of Sub-Depot 85/Warehouse 182 and 200 households whose houses and land were acquired for the Dung Quat Refinery Expansion and Upgrade Project.

On January 26, 2026, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union awarded 10 scholarships with a total value of VND 5 million to 10 students from disadvantaged backgrounds at Thu Xa High School, Tu Nghia District, Quang Ngai Province, encouraging them to strive to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.

On January 31, 2026, at the headquarters of the Mobile Police Department, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union participated in the “Green Chung Cake Festival 2026” organized by the Youth Committee of Quang Ngai Provincial Police. The festival gathered more than 150 youth members from various youth units and affiliated organizations, creating a vibrant traditional Tet atmosphere imbued with national cultural identity, thereby enhancing exchange, connection, and promoting the spirit of unity and sharing among young people.

Continuing to accompany the locality in caring for the cultural and spiritual life of the people, on February 5, 2026, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union donated VND 50 million to the People’s Committee of Van Tuong Commune to support funding for decorations and fireworks to welcome the Lunar New Year. On the same day, the Youth Union participated in the “Spring of Love” art program organized by the Women’s Union of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police and supported VND 5 million for the “Godmother” program, contributing to the care and companionship of orphaned children, helping them gain more confidence and motivation in life.

On February 6, 2026, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union coordinated with the Nghia Lo Ward Youth Union and youth branches of Vietcombank Quang Ngai, the Provincial People’s Committee Office, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Political School, and Le Khiet High School to organize the red address journey: “Voluntary Winter Campaign – Spring of Love” program to Son Ha Commune, Quang Ngai Province. The program presented 200 gift packages to local residents and children with a total value of more than VND 70 million, contributing to bringing a warm and meaningful Tet to an area facing many difficulties, mainly inhabited by ethnic minorities. Within the framework of the journey, the delegation also offered incense at the Son Nham Martyrs’ Memorial, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the nation, and visited Thach Nham Hydropower Dam, helping youth members better understand the province’s historically and socio-economically significant works.

On the same day, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union continued to support VND 10 million for the Mobile Police Department – Quang Ngai Provincial Police to carry out activities of visiting and giving Tet gifts, as well as the “Quang Trung Campaign” for building houses for households affected by natural disasters. At the same time, in coordination with Van Tuong Commune Police and youth branches of PTSC Shipbuilding and Petroleum Mechanical Industry Company, Binh Son Petroleum Trading and Packaging Joint Stock Company, and Tien Vien Co., Ltd., the “Spring of Love” program was organized in Van Tuong Commune, providing 24 gift packages worth nearly VND 17 million in total, each package worth VND 700,000 (including VND 500,000 in cash and gifts worth VND 200,000), to 24 disadvantaged households, helping them enjoy a warmer and happier Tet.

On February 12, 2026, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union continued to collaborate with the Quang Ngai Provincial Border Guard Command and other units to organize the program “Border Spring – Strong Military-Civilian Bond” in Ly Son Special Administrative Zone. The program included many practical activities such as making green Chung cakes, medical check-ups, free medicine distribution, organizing “Zero-VND Stalls,” cultural performances and presenting gifts to disadvantaged residents. On this occasion, the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union also donated VND 100 million to support fireworks displays, contributing to bringing a joyful and warm spring to both the armed forces and local people.

The series of social welfare activities on the occasion of the Spring of Binh Ngo 2026 once again affirmed the pioneering role, sense of responsibility, and community-oriented spirit of the PTSC Quang Ngai Youth Union toward the locality. Through these meaningful programs, the Youth Union not only spread the value of “Humanity,” but also strengthened solidarity and close ties between enterprises, authorities, and local people, jointly contributing to the development of a sustainable and prosperous community.
