The ceremony was attended by Ms. Y Thi Bich Tho – Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai Province; Mr. Luong Kim Son – Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Dung Quat Economic Zone Authority; representatives of provincial departments, boards and sectors, local authorities of Van Tuong Commune, as well as customers and partners of Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC).

| PTSC Dung Quat Port plays a vital role in PTSC’s integrated service supply chain in the Central region. With a strategic vision to enhance competitiveness and stay ahead of global logistics trends, PTSC has invested in upgrading and expanding Berth No. 3, assigning PTSC Quang Ngai to directly manage and operate the facility. After a period of safe, accelerated construction in compliance with planning, Berth No. 3—part of Phase 2A of the PTSC Dung Quat Port Project—has been completed and officially put into operation. The berth features a quay length of 145 meters, capable of accommodating general cargo and container vessels of up to 50,000 DWT, as well as woodchip vessels of up to 70,000 DWT (light-loaded), with a designed capacity of 2.5 million tons per year. The operation of Berth No. 3 contributes to expanding scale and improving the efficiency of PTSC Dung Quat Port, gradually completing the integrated port–logistics–mechanical fabrication service chain serving oil and gas, offshore renewable energy, and export fabrication sectors in Dung Quat and across Vietnam. This enables customers to optimize transportation costs, enhance import-export flexibility, and contributes positively to the socio-economic development of Quang Ngai Province and the Central region. |
At the launch ceremony, Berth No. 3 welcomed its first vessel, M/V Rudolf, which berthed to handle cargo consisting of equipment for a gas-fired power project, manufactured by PTSC Quang Ngai for an Australian partner and exported to the Middle East. This milestone affirms the company’s capability to provide integrated services, from manufacturing and fabrication to logistics and direct export at the port.

On this occasion, PTSC and its contractors jointly carried out social welfare programs, demonstrating strong corporate social responsibility and commitment to the local community. PTSC contributed VND 300 million to Quang Ngai Province for social welfare initiatives; PTSC Quang Ngai donated VND 150 million to Van Tuong Commune; and Huu Thanh Construction Joint Stock Company, the project contractor, contributed VND 50 million to Tuyet Diem 1 Village.
