PTSC Quang Ngai Joint Stock Company (PTSC Quang Ngai) was awarded with the Innovation Award by GE Vernova at the 2025 APAC Supplier Partnership Summit held in Shanghai, China. This award recognizes PTSC Quang Ngai’s technological initiatives and production improvements, which have contributed to enhancing efficiency, optimizing costs, and strengthening GE Vernova’s global energy supply chain.
The 2025 APAC Supplier Partnership Summit gathered hundreds of GE Vernova’s strategic partners in the field of energy and mechanical industries. Among the outstanding suppliers in the region, PTSC Quang Ngai was highly appreciated for its comprehensive innovative solutions: optimizing design and fabrication, advancing mechanization and automation in several stages, enforcing strict quality control, and continuously improving production processes, thereby significantly reducing delivery time, reducing emissions, and enhancing safety.
Specifically, the improvements in producing auxiliary components for the Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) system of combined-cycle power plants have boosted construction efficiency and delivered cost savings for customers: PTSC Quang Ngai restructured the fabrication workflow, applied automated cutting and welding technology, and implemented a “just-in-time” production planning method to minimize material waiting time and maximize processing efficiency. As a result, the fabrication schedule for HRSG modules and structures was considerably shortened compared to standard practices, while still meeting GE Vernova’s stringent technical requirements. At the same time, PTSC Quang Ngai implemented an effective cost management system, from optimizing material consumption to controlling export logistics, helping GE Vernova significantly reduce overall costs without compromising quality.
