To review the past journey, to express our gratitude to those who came first, to express our gratitude to customers, partners and all employees, with the agreement of PTSC and Leaders at all levels, in the afternoon of October 13, 2017 at the Office Hall, PTSC Quang Ngai held the 20th Anniversary of the Company’s establishment (October 17, 1997 – October 17, 2017). Attending the ceremony, there were:

Mr. Dang Ngoc Dung – Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee;

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nham, Former President & CEO of Board of Directors of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN);

Mr. Thai Quoc Hiep – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of PTSC’s Board of Management;

Mr. Phan Thanh Tung – Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, President & CEO of PTSC’s Board of Directors;

Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan – Vice President of PTSC’s Board of Directors, Chairman of Trade Union of PTSC cum Chairman of PTSC Quang Ngai’s Board of Management;

Mr. Pham Van Hung – Director of PTSC Quang Ngai together with Heads and Deputy Heads of its Devisions, especially the attendance of more than 200 employees of the Company.

Along with the leaders of the specialized departments of the Corporation and leaders of the units directly under PTSC, the former leaders of the Group, the former leaders of PTSC also returned to attend the Celebration.

From the very first days of establishment, as a provider of oil and gas services of PTSC serving Dung Quat Refinery in Quang Ngai, experiencing many problems and challenges but with the tireless and creative working tradition of generations of employees, together with the enthusiasm and close direction of the generations of leaders, we has a so proud PTSC Quang Ngai today.

Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan – Vice President of PTSC’s Board of Directors, Chairman of PTSC’s Trade Union made the opening speech at the ceremony: “Just 20 years ago, in the context of our country implementing the industrialization of land with the selection of Dung Quat – Quang Ngai as the place to build the country’s Number 1 Refinery, the task is placed on the role of Vietnam’s national petroleum industry. Facing these challenges and opportunities, on October 17, 1997, the PTSC’s Board of Directors issued Decision No. 1723 / DK-HĐQT establishing the branch of PTSC in Quang Ngai, with the main task of providing services for the construction of Dung Quat Refinery and that branch is the forerunner of PTSC Quang Ngai as present. Over the past 20 years, although it has not been a long time but it has had a great significance to mark the maturity of the company, we are extremely excited and proud to pay back the results achieved during the construction and the recent development. From an initial branch of only 04 people, the head office had to be rented, facilities were almost nothing, up to now, the average labor force has been 876 people, every year the Company always fulfilling the Corporation’s economic targets, 2017 revenue is expected to reach over VND 700 billion and profit is over VND 35 billion. The company always ensures jobs for employees with salaries higher than the local income level, annually makes full contributions to the state budget as prescribed. Besides, the Company always pays great attention to and does well in the work of social welfare in the locality”.

Currently, PTSC Quang Ngai has been investing in equipping modern and synchronous facilities and equipment to promptly meet production and business requirements. The business development has been achieved, but it has continuously improved the strategy and strongly developed in accordance with the orientation of PTSC and PVN. The system of organizational structure of the Company has been completed, the management system has been improved, infrastructural facilities and science and technology have been invested, the management level, expertise, profession and skills have been enhanced. The collectives and employees always have a spirit of solidarity, dynamism and professionalism, being ready to undertake the implementation of major projects in the following years. From its establishment until now, undergoing many ups and downs but with the will and determination of generations of leaders and employees, PTSC Quang Ngai has become more and more mature in all aspects. The company has made great changes in its stature and affirmed its position in building and contributing to local socio-economic development.

We are very fortunate to receive great attention from the leaders of PTSC, which can be said to be a solid prop on all aspects of PTSC Quang Ngai. In the context of increasingly fierce competition market, PTSC Quang Ngai continues to show its bravery, ready to compete with major domestic and foreign contractors in the field of mechanical engineering, machinery and equipment installation, maintenance and repair in the field of oil and gas. The facilities are invested with huge cost, many large contracts and projects are implemented. The close attention and direction of the President of PTSC’s Board of Directors in the past time has been and will continue to help PTSC Quang Ngai overcome all difficulties and continue to steadily rise to become a leading unit in the big PTSC’s family.

The history of establishment and development of PTSC Quang Ngai is only within two decades but the achievements and results of the Company are proud and respectful, it has contributed to radiating the traditional page of PTSC in particular and Vietnam’s oil and gas industry in general then the generations that have been and will contribute to building PTSC have the right to be proud of that. The road ahead is long with many difficulties and challenges but we are a member of PTSC which has a strong traditional solidarity, always promoting the available strengths and relentless efforts with intense determination, knowing how to overcome difficult times. We believe that PTSC Quang Ngai will continue to succeed and develop stably and sustainably.

Being proud of a PTSC Quang Ngai today, we must not forget the history with many ups and downs in the past to better understand those years. Mr. Pham Van Hung – Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the company said with many feelings: “Today is a big and meaningful day of the company, besides the proud achievements, in this day we look at the evaluation, learn from experience. On the shortcomings, it is necessary to focus on remedying and settling in order to bring PTSC Quang Ngai to continue developing stably, sustainably, strongly and quickly with the deep understanding that the achieved achievements are the common results of all employees of the Company in the past 20 years and this glory belongs to us. So today we have a chance to meet and share happiness, exchange, and deep memories of our gratitude during the process of working at the company. Today’s celebration is also an opportunity to thank the leaders who have made a great contribution to the establishment and development of the company, offering gratefulness to the brothers and sisters of the previous classes who have contributed to the development of PTSC Quang Ngai. The anniversary of the company’s establishment today also shows the beauty of the oil and gas business culture and encourages the Party members and all PTSC Quang Ngai employees to continue wholeheartedly striving to complete the 2017 target plan and next year assigned by the Corporation. “

At the ceremony, PVN awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements during the 20 years of building and developing PTSC Quang Ngai. The leaders of the Corporation and PTSC Quang Ngai also presented a medal to express their gratitude to the generations of leaders, expressing their deep gratitude, respect and remembrance of the leaders through the periods for their great effort to build up PTSC Quang Ngai as it is today. Also on this occasion, the Leader of Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee also announced its decision to award certificates of merit to the collectives and individuals of PTSC Quang Ngai who have successfully completed the tasks, typical leading in emulation movement in 2016.

The Board of Directors of PTSC Quang Ngai and all employees strongly committed and determined to maintain solidarity, enthusiasm and do its best to overcome all difficulties, continuously bringing PTSC Quang Ngai to firmly succeed in the coming time./.
