PTSC Dung Quat Port
PTSC Dung Quat Port is one of the ports within the PTSC Port system. As a core service of the Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), port base and logistics services are being increasingly prioritized for investment, development, upgrading, and expansion in order to keep pace with rapidly growing market demand in Vietnam.
The port was officially put into operation and used in 2002 to serve the function of loading, transporting goods and equipment for the construction of the Dung Quat Oil refinery – the first oil refinery of Vietnam.
PTSC Dung Quat Port serves as a key gateway for the import and export of materials, equipment, and goods for most investors in the Dung Quat Economic Zone, as well as enterprises across Quang Ngai and Quang Nam provinces. The port handles an annual cargo throughput of approximately 3 million tons. Numerous shipments of equipment and materials for major projects such as the Dung Quat Oil Refinery, Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam, Dung Quat Shipyard, and the Polypropylene Plant have been cleared through customs, handled, and safely transported via the port.
