After three days of exciting, dramatic, and determined competition at the IEC – International Education City in Quang Ngai Province, the 2025 Sports Festival of the PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) for the Northern–Central region officially came to an end, leaving behind many unforgettable highlights.
The Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Sports Festival was solemnly held at noon on August 17 at the Diamond Palace – Convention & Wedding Centre, Quang Ngai Province. Representing the distinguished guests, the Closing ceremony of the Sport Festival was honored to welcome Mr. Vu Anh Tuan – Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam); Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nham – Former General Director of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (recently called the Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group), former General Director of PTSC; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hai – Former Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Former Vice General Director, and Head of PTSC’s Retirement Liaison Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Dan – Former Chairman of the PTSC Corporation’s Trade Union.
Representing the PTSC leadership, the event was honored by the presence of Mr. Pham Van Hung – Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of PTSC Corporation, Chairman of PTSC Quang Ngai; Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan – Chairman of PTSC Corporation’s Trade Union; Mr. Vu Duc Cuong – Standing Vice Chairman of the Trade Union, Deputy Chief of the Party – Union Office of the Corporation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuan – Chief of the Party – Union Office of the PTSC Corporation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Quyet – Chairman of the Veterans Association of the Corporation, Deputy Chief of the Party – Union Office of the Corporation, along with a large number of officers, employees, and athletes from various member units.
Delivering the closing speech at the Sports Festival, Mr. Nguyen Tran Toan – Chairman of the PTSC Trade Union – acknowledged the great effort and fighting spirit of all the delegations and athletes and extended his congratulations on the successful completion of the Sports Festival.
With the spirit of “Solidarity – Integrity – Sportsmanship” and through intense and thrilling matches, the athletes gave their best efforts, competed excellently to achieve outstanding results for both the individual and the team. The awards won are not only a recognition of the athletes’ spirit and talent but also mark the brilliant victory of PTSC’s member units in the movement to improve physical health, contributing to stronger cohesion and cooperation in the pursuit of production and business excellence. In the Competition summary of the Sport Festival, PTSC Thanh Hoa took the lead with 10 Gold, 4 Silver, and 11 Bronze medals; PTSC Quang Ngai followed in second place with 6 Gold, 8 Silver, and 9 Bronze medals; and PTSC Da Nang ranked third with 1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals, etc.
The 2025 PTSC Sports Festival concluded successfully, serving as a meaningful and enriching experience for physical training, labour recovery, and strengthening solidarity among PTSC’s member units. The event not only inspires motivation to improve productivity, quality, and work efficiency but also contributes to the sustainable development of PTSC in the years to come.
