In order to encourage the learning spirit of the employees’ offspring in the whole Vietnam Petroleum Technical Service Corporation (PTSC), with the consent of the Board of Directors, Board of Management of PTSC, on 3 days of July 07, 08 and 09, 2017 in Hanoi City, PTSC’s Trade Union organized an exchange meeting to meet outstanding students of the 2016-2017 school year.
Participating in this exchange meeting with outstanding students of the 2016-2017 school year are 86 good and excellent students representing 3,000 excellent students who are offspring of laborers working in PTSC units across the country. PTSC Quang Ngai’s good and excellent student group has up to 15 students attending at this exchange meeting, the largest number of the ones compared to the participating teams. They are excellent students who have achieved many achievements in districts, cities and national excellent student contests.
In the 2016-2017 school year, they achieved a lot of success in typical examinations such as:
Nguyen Huu Chi – 11th grade student – second prize in the provincial excellent student contest in Chemistry;
Nguyen Thanh Nhan, 9th-grade student – third prize in the provincial excellent student competition in Physics;
Nguyen Bui Trang Nhung – 11th grade student – third prize in the provincial excellent student contest in English;
Hoang Thi Quynh Anh – 8th grade student – first prize in the Municipal excellent student contest in Literature;
Doan Nguyen Hanh Nhi – 7th grade student – the second prize in the Municipal excellent student contest in English;
Thoi Ta Ngoc Han, 9th grade student – consolation prize in the Municipal excellent student contest in English;
Some of students achieved high prizes in district exams.
At the ceremony, student Hoang Quynh Anh – representing for a group of excellent students of PTSC Quang Ngai reported the academic achievement to the leaders of PTSC. Student Nguyen Huu Chi – participated in the exchange to share learning experiences with students, and expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders of the Corporation for encouragement and timely support, creating motivation for children to strive more to become good children, good students and contribute to making PTSC’s common house forever united.
On 2 days of July 7&8, 2016, the children had a chance to visit the actual source at Uncle Ho’s Mausoleum, the Museum of Ethnology and Bat Trang pottery village. These are very interesting and memorable experiences of children, creating a lot of excitement for them to prepare for a new school year 2017-2018 with many new achievements.
